  1. Observed

    • On 24 August 2016 a team led by Guillem Anglada-Escudé announced a terrestrial-mass planet candidate in a temperate orbit around Proxima Centauri.
    • Stars tells that planet as The nearest other fire. No one has seen the ground.
    • The Book of 42 has named Proxima Discovery as an operator note. It is not a locked public page.
  2. Connection

Placed beside the star because they share a system. Adult looking-up. Not the children's star story, and not a chronicle page that does not yet exist.

  3. Interpretation

A planet can be named from a wobble in a star's light. That is a different office from meeting the star as a spark. Wonder is real. Collapse is not required.
